Himachal Pradesh State Coop. Bank Ltd is financing for individuals /societies etc. for purchasing of vehicles for self or commercial use under the HPSCB - Vehicle loan scheme. The applicants under this scheme shall approcah the bank for financial assiatance for purchase of commercial vehicle to be plied either as Taxi or as stage carriage on route allocated by the Transport Authorities under its general policy.
The Govt. of Himachal Pradesh Department of Transport in pursuance to the announcement made in the Budget speech for the year 2008-2009, has incorporated & implemented a scheme named *HIM GRAMIN PARIVAHAN SWAROJGAR YOJANA (GPSY)* with the following objectives :
1). To generate self employment to the unemployed youths of the State.
2). To improve the transport facilities in the State specially rural areas ans
thus to reduce losses being incurred by the HRTC by deploying cost effective
vehicles with lesser seating capacity.
